【摘要】 在1957年至2000年的台湾电影史中,每个年代都不乏女性导演的身影。她们的作品顺应不同时代的电影潮流,透露出台湾社会不同时期的集体无意识,展现出与男性导演不同的性别视角。本论文将台湾女导演及其作品放置在三个历史时期来研究:第一章:1950年代的初涉电影创作的台湾女导演。结束了近半个世纪日本殖民统治之后,被压抑许久的台湾本土文化开始复苏,出现了台语片的创作浪潮,台湾历史上的第一位女导演陈文敏影墨登场。在1957年第一届台语片金马奖影展中,她参与编剧导演的作品有三部入围,作品多以家庭伦理片为主,初涉性别议题的思索。第二章:1960年代至1980年代初的女导演和她们的作品。政治戒严时期的台湾,文艺政策有诸多限制。女导演汪莹、杨家云曾参与政治宣教影片的创作,崔小萍、刘立立则拍摄时下流行的爱情文艺片等各种商业类型片。她们受到台湾“新女性主义”思潮的影响,开始从女性视点反观社会现实,着眼于现代社会中女性角色的变化。第三章:1980年代至2000年,台湾电影新浪潮中的女性导演。政治解严前后,台湾岛内民主与自由的呼声越来越大,政治宣教电影遭遇瓶颈,武侠片、爱情文艺片已经让观众审美疲劳。在电影业一片低迷之中,新浪潮的电影导演走出了艺术探索的新步伐^张艾嘉、王小棣、黄玉珊等皆为新电影的重要推手或参与者。她们的作品中彰显着更加强烈的自觉意识,涉及性别议题、社会问题、历史题材,将民主意识贯彻在对个体生命的关注上,在内容和形式中都彰显出不同以往的美学特质。本论文将研究对象集中于1957年至2000年创作剧情长片的台湾女导演,探究她们的作品在不同时代背景下的意义与内涵,运用文化研究、女性主义研究、影史研究、影视批评学等方法对研究对象进行详细的分析。

【Abstract】 In every decade since the1957Taiwan female directors had constantfilm production available. Their movies were using the unique femaleperspective conform to the historical trend of the time, that embodypeople’s collective unconsciousness. The thesis study of Taiwan Womandirectors can be roughly divided into three periods:The ifrst period is around1950s,Chen Wen-Min is the first femaledirector in period of Taiwanese language movie in Taiwan film history.The revival of local culture atfer Taiwan terminating long history ofcolonial rule stimulated the development of the production of Taiwaneselanguage film. In the first Taiwanese iflm golden horse award in1957,Chen Wen-Min’s three movies eligible for the festival’s competition. Herworks were known to be Melodrama Films about gender issues.Then the second period is from1960s to early1980s,in the days ofmartial law there were much restrictions on creative freedom ofiflm-making. Wang Ying and Yang Chia-Yun have made the politicalpropaganda iflm. Cui Xiao-Ping and Liu Li-Li made commercial iflmsuch as romance literary movies. The female director were Affected bythe trend of the new Feminism thoughts of1970s and they startedreviewing social reality with their feminism angle and rethinking thechanging role of women in Taiwan society.The third period of female directors in Taiwan’s new wave is from 1980s to2000. Around the lifting of martial law, People are eager to therealization of democracy and democratic rights of free exercise. Thepolitical propaganda iflm got a cold reception,and the sowordsmen filmand romance literary movies also let the audience feel fatigue and tired.When Taiwan film fell into low tide period, young directors started toexplore other methods of representation. Wang Hsiao-Ti, Sylvia Changand Huang Yu-Shan had became an inlfuential presence on TaiwanTaiwanese New Film and they were important player of the new wavefilm. Their movies discussed gender issue and,social problem andhistorical theme reflected the feminine self-consciousness of them. Theypay attention to the living feeling of the individuals in modern civilizationand democratic society. The content and form of their cinema manifestednew aesthetic characteristics.The Thesis Research focus on Taiwan female directors in period of1957to2000, studying content and historical signiifcance at the differenttime. This paper applies the method of cultural study method, feminismstudy method,film history study method, iflm criticism study methodetc.
